Meet Bintu (Beautiful/Pretty little girl)

Welcome back to another blog post about my gorgeous creations.

I would like to introduce you to Bintu as named by her owner.

Bintu means Beautiful or Pretty little girl.

If you haven't noticed bright colours are definitely my thing.

Bintu was my first custom doll ordered by someone I didn't know personally. I was so scared that they wouldn't like her, that they wouldn't see value in her.

I had nothing to worry about she is loved in her forever home.

When I created Bintu I put myself out there.

It was June 2020 and I was invited to join a black owned business group on Facebook. I joined and had no intention of promoting what I did in the group. I was looking at businesses I could purchase from.

I decided on a whim to post the pictures of dolls I had created to see if anything would happen. I was thinking maybe a couple of likes.

My very first post in the group received over 1000 likes and it was shared a number of times, I was inundated with messages, requests and orders, out of this, is where Bintu was created.

She holds a special place in my heart.
